   The new video is terrific! A great fusion of past/present. Next time there’s an edit, maybe you can incorporate some of the G&S Hynson Model ads that appeared in Surfer.

   Anecdote; 1963. I wander into Hobie Shop on Grand Ave in Pacific Beach. No one’s there except guy behind counter who barely notices me. It’s Hynson. I’m 8. I would see him the following year at Hoover High. On screen at the debut of Endless Summer.

   Today, my surfing is focused on clean lines, minimal fuss. My home break is Kirra and she loves my HY-2 inspired craft.
